Our History

Tintern Grammar has a strong historical legacy of excellence in learning and preparation for life. 145 years ago, Mrs Emma B Cook (our founding Principal) started her own school in Hawthorn – Tintern.  The dream continued to grow and expand, in 1953 the School moved to more expansive grounds here, in Ringwood East. We continue to live out Emma B Cook’s vision with our strong commitment to the learning, lives and development of each child under our care.
