Alumna Fashion Designer Miranda Dickinson (YG 2011) Presents Laser Cut Textiles Workshop
Last week we welcomed alumna Fashion Designer Miranda Dickinson (YG 2011) back to Tintern to present a Laser Cut Textiles workshop to our Year 11 Studio Art students. The class was thrilled with their laser cut embellishments that will become part of their developing textiles works, and excited to continue with their new found skills.
In 2015, Miranda graduated with honours from the acclaimed Bachelor of Design (Fashion) (Honors) at RMIT University, Melbourne. Her preparation at this innovative college exposed her to a wide range of technical skills, involving 3D pattern making, textile manipulation, surface embellishment and experimental design. Miranda is now working in the Fashion industry as a designer, as well as creating her own signature collections.
