Alumna Julia Thorpe (YG 2011) wins Michael Page Major Player Award
Congratulations to alumna Julia Thorpe (YG 2011) who was recently named the Michael Page Major Player Award. Julia works as a Recruitment Consultant for Michael Page and this award recognises her as the top biller for Marketing nationally for Q2. It also acknowledges her hard work and dedication to her role as she consistently demonstrates the five core company values: Take Pride, Never Give Up, Be Passionate, Work as a Team and Make it Fun.
When Julia left school she went onto to study Marketing/Management at Monash University but wasn’t sure where to next. After successfully applying to the Graduate Program at Michael Page she has loved it ever since. Julia is now a Recruitment Consultant within their Marketing team specialising in the professional services sector (e.g. Investments/Banking/Superannuation). She comments “I am truly passionate about what I do, being able to place someone in their dream job gives me no greater satisfaction”.
