It has been a busy start to the year for many Tintern alumni and we are pleased to share the following messages of congratulations to them for their respective achievements!
Michael D’Addazio (YG 2016)
Congratulations to alumnus Michael D’Addazio (YG 2016) who began his breakfast radio career in Melbourne in February. Michael along with Tom from Gogglebox will host Thursday mornings, 6.30 – 9.00am on Joy 94.9. Show Michael your support and tune in this Thursday morning!

Helen Reddy (YG 1958)
Congratulations to alumna and Tintern Grammar Avenue of Excellence inductee Helen Reddy (YG 1958) who was honoured with a lifetime achievement award at the 16th annual G’Day USA Gala.
Helen’s daughter, Traci Wald Donat, accepted the night’s biggest award on her behalf and in her acceptance speech spoke of her mother’s fondness for Australia.
Helen had an exceptional career in the USA, with three chart-topping songs reaching #1 on the Billboard rankings, with the most famous of them being the feminist anthem I Am Woman.

Alfred Kouris (YG 2015)
Congratulations to alumnus Alfred Kouris (YG 2015) who has been accepted into the Bachelor Of Fine Arts (Acting) at the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA). This is a wonderful achievement as NIDA is Australia’s leading centre for education and training in the performing arts.
We wish Alfred all the best for this exciting next chapter!
Jenny Brown (YG 1981)
We are pleased to share that alumna Jenny Brown (YG 1981) has been included in this year’s hashtagFSPower50 the 50 most influential Financial Advisers in Australia.

Matt Gilling (YG 2014)
Congratulations to alumnus Matt Gilling (YG 2014) who won the 2019 Surf Coast Times Jim Wall Ironman in mid-January. Matt also competed in the Lorne Pier to Pub and placed third.
