Tintern Grammar is an active and committed learning community with over 145 years of excellence and care. We inspire academic and personal achievement for students from ELC to Year 12. Our Parallel Learning model is the best of both worlds, the perfect balance of single-gender and co-education.

Co-curricular

Our varied co-curricular program provides many advanced opportunities for students develop a variety of skills and help them find their passion. From sports to performing arts, from debating to music and across a range of academic extension programs, each student is challenged to become an active part of the school community.

Our Horizons Program aims to identify students with high intellectual potential, and to enhance their learning experience by offering them a range of extension and enrichment activities that extend beyond the classroom. These include things like quizzes, tournaments and games of strategy that are designed to challenge the way they think.

The VCE Season of Excellence is here – an annual festival showcasing outstanding senior secondary student work from Victorian schools. This year, three Tintern Grammar Class of 2024 students received invitations to audition for the 2025 Top Class Concerts, which are held at the Melbourne Recital Centre in March.

Congratulations to Emily Stokes, auditioning for Drama, Charlotte du Blet, auditioning for Theatre Studies, and Ashley Honan, who is remarkably auditioning for both subjects.

Congratulations to Australian snowboarding champion, Scotty James (Tintern Grammar Class of 2013) who secured first place in the LAAX FIS Snowboard World Cup 2025, Halfpipe competition held in Switzerland over the weekend. This incredible result gives Scotty his 10th World Cup Laax Open victory!

Next, all eyes will be on Scotty when he competes in the X Games in Aspen, USA. What a champion!
