Golden Circle High Tea Reunion—a day to remember

Last week, we had the privilege of welcoming back Tintern Grammar's Golden Circle Alumnae—those who graduated 50 or more years ago—for a special celebration of their lasting connection to Tintern.

It was a delightful day filled with shared memories, laughter, and stories spanning decades. A special moment was taking the time to congratulate the Class of 1975 on reaching this milestone and officially joining the Golden Circle. We were also delighted to welcome our oldest attending Alumna, Mary Churchward (Class of 1948), whose presence was a wonderful reminder of the rich history and enduring bonds within our community.

A highlight of the day was the Junior Bel Canto Choir’s rousing rendition of Factis Non Verbis, which filled the room with spirit and pride, reminding us all of the school’s enduring motto—
'Deeds, Not Words'.

Guests enjoyed a beautiful High Tea, reconnecting with old friends and making new ones. As the event drew to a close, many stayed to continue conversations over coffee, reminiscing about their school days and reflecting on the legacy they’ve helped build.

Thank you to all who attended—your presence made this event truly special. We look forward to seeing you again at future reunions and celebrations!

Congratulations to the cast and crew of The Drowsy Chaperone for an opening night to remember!

Last night, the show delivered everything promised – it was clever and hilarious, with incredible song and dance numbers that brought the house down every time.

This musical within a play came to life before our eyes thanks to extraordinarily talented Tintern Grammar students both on and off stage. The brilliant performances transported the audience into the glamourous world of 1920s Broadway with such joy it was difficult to leave behind when the curtain dropped at the end of the night!

There are still a handful to tickets available for this amazing production, which is on every night at 7pm until Saturday. You don't want to miss it! Book now aukarralyka.sales.ticketsearch.com/sales/salesevent/145698
