This week, Tintern Grammar Early Learning Centre (ELC) students and their families came together for an evening nature walk around the campus before enjoying a picnic on the oval. Students made their way along the dedicated trail, collecting treasures and participating in fun activities, all while exploring their wider school environment.
It was the perfect autumnal evening for families to form connections in their new community within the surrounds of Tintern’s beautiful, landscaped gardens.

This morning, Tintern Grammar students, parents, staff, board members, Alumni and guests experienced an International Women’s Day Breakfast to remember.
First, student leaders welcomed guest speaker, Dr Vera Korasidis (Class of 2010) to share insights about her palaeontology journey—a scientific passion she uncovered when on a Tintern camp to Cradle Mountain! Vera now leads the way for women in research as the recipient of prestigious awards and fellowships in Australia and overseas, placing her at the forefront of palaeobiological research.
Next, the Senior Girls' Chamber Choir delivered a moving rendition of Marching On, from the musical Suffs which saw the room erupt with applause.
What an incredible way to start the day with friends amid these talented members of the Tintern community!
Tintern Grammar is proud to support Women in STEMM Australia with $5 donation from every ticket sold.

Today, Tintern Grammar student leaders joined Mayor, Cr Kylie Spears at the Maroondah City Council International Women's Day Breakfast. Students were inspired by guest speaker Helen Parker OAM, founder of The Babes Project.
The Babes Project was established by Helen in response to the gaps she saw in perinatal support for women in crisis. Now, through the organisation, women in crisis have access to practical, judgement-free support during pregnancy and early motherhood.
The breakfast was a wonderful opportunity to engage with the local community, celebrate women and #AccelerateAction.
