Jazz Bands to make inaugural appearance at ‘Generations in Jazz’ this weekend!
Our Intermediate and Senior Jazz Bands are climbing into a bus this Friday and heading to Mt Gambier, S.A. to perform at “Generations in Jazz”. This event has been running for over three decades and brings together around 5,000 students from more than 150 schools around Australia. Not only do students perform and hear other school jazz ensembles, but they hear top-notch Australian and global jazz artists bringing their own brand of magic to the stage.
The Intermediate Jazz Band gave a ‘warm-up’ performance at the Junior School Boys’ Assembly on Monday morning. It was great to hear them play and we wish all 28 students and the accompanying staff a safe and enjoyable time.
