Success at the EISM Athletics Champions Meet
Congratulations to the Tintern Athletic Squad members who competed at the EISM Athletics Champions Meet at Lakeside Stadium on Monday 14 May with great success! We had 30 students compete with many improving upon their performance at the Division 1 Carnival and a number of students medalled against strong competition.
Congratulations to all competitors and in particular the following students who received a medal in their event – Matt Evans: 3rd Open Boys Long Jump, 1st Open Boys Triple Jump, Vishnu Pillay: 3rd Open Boys 800m, Maddy Block 2nd U/14 Girls 400m, Tess Power 3rd U/16 Girls 400m, Krisshnaa Kannan 2nd U/14 Boys Long Jump, 3rd U/14 Boys 200m, Alice Callaghan 2nd U/13 Girls High Jump and Jayden Marsh, William Zhang, Kevin Zhang, Joshua Tan U/13 Boys 4x100m Relay 3rd.
