Tintern Grammar Professional Learning Program
Teachers teaching teachers! After school every Thursday our teachers are students again participating in professional development workshops. These workshops give staff the opportunity to share areas of teaching and learning they are passionate about, as well as continue to develop their own knowledge and skills.
Technology was the theme of last week’s workshops with these photos taken during the Director of Information and Technology Services, Sue Healey’s augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) session. In this workshop teachers learnt how they can incorporate AR and VR into the classroom.
Just as Tintern Grammar places high importance on the education we provide our students, we do the same with our staff offering extensive professional development and mentoring programs. Our professional learning program enhances staff knowledge, classroom practice and leadership capacity to provide Tintern’s teachers extension, renewal and growth on both a professional and personal level.
