About the Role
Tintern Grammar seeks to appoint an experienced Senior AV Technician to provide comprehensive AV and technical support to staff and students. Reporting to the Director of Information & Technology Services, the role works closely with the Music and Drama Departments to fulfil AV and staging requirements in collaboration with the contracted Theatre Technician.
This role encompasses the ongoing maintenance of classroom and venue infrastructure, ClickView Media Server management, multimedia post-production, and management of the media resource collection. The successful candidate will also oversee AV upgrades and collaborate with IT and Facilities teams.

About you
· Demonstrated experience in AV technical support, including infrastructure maintenance and multimedia systems.
· Strong expertise in managing and operating multimedia systems, including ClickView, Vivi projection system, and sound/light setups.
· Proficiency in video/audio editing software and post-production technologies.
· Excellent organisational, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
· Advanced computing skills, including proficiency in the Adobe Productivity Suite.
· Effective communication and collaboration skills to work closely with multiple departments.
· Commitment to providing excellent customer service.
Desirable Criteria
· Relevant qualifications, such as Diploma of Live production & Technical Services or equivalent experience.
· Experience in educational or performing arts environments, particularly live event support.
· Familiarity with theatre staging, lighting, and live sound systems.
· Knowledge of IT infrastructure and networking, particularly as it relates to AV systems.
· Prior experience mentoring or training staff in AV technology.
