Each year at Tintern Grammar, a group of Year 8 students work alongside professional writers, developing their creative writing skills. During the workshops, students have a theme to adhere to, and a word limit, and work through the creative writing process discussing plot, characters, setting and dialogue. These stories are published in a book, and this year the final product was Tintern Stories Volume Five.

The workshops have been both enjoyable and educational, with all participants speaking very favourably of the process, and the inspiration they have experienced in their writing through their involvement. A big thank you to Creative Write-it who ran the workshops.
