Tintern Young Farmers Junior Judging and Handling Competition
On 14 June 2018 the Tintern Young Farmers held the Inaugural ‘Tintern Grammar Junior Judging and Handling Competition’ in preparation for the Australian Sheep and Wool Show in July. There were 45 students from Years 7-12 who attended the incursion, which is quite a large group!
The students were divided into 3 groups of 12 and each group had a team leader from Year 10 and 11. Each student competed in 3 competitions; wool judging, meat judging and sheep handling.
Well done to all the students involved in this incursion, in particular to the students who placed in the competition.
